Our Lady Peace ~ 4 A.M.

Canadian rockers Our Lady peace reached international fame with thier second album Clumsy. "4 A.M." is a song based on a dream that the lead singer, Raine Maida, had about his father dying without getting to say how much he loved him. The title "4 A.M." refers to the time the song was completed and stands for Maida's father's initials, Adam Maida. The audience sings along some in the begining of the video, but for a live performance of this song thats not unusual to hear.

4 A.M. by Our Lady Peace lyrics

I walked around my good intentions and found that there were none.
I blame my father for the wasted years - we hardly talked.
I never thought I would forget this hate.
Then a phone call made me realize I'm wrong.

And If I don't make it know that I've loved you all along.
Just like sunny days that we ignore because we're all dumb and jaded.
And I hope to God I figure out what's wrong.

I walked around my room not thinking just sinking in this box.
I blame myself for being too much like somebody else.
I never thought I would just bend this way.
Then a phone call made me realize I'm wrong.

And If I don't make it know that I've loved you all along.
Just like sunny days that we ignore because we're all dumb and jaded.
And I hope to God I figure out what's wrong.

And I hope to God I figure out what's wrong.
I hope to God I figure out what's wrong.

If I don't make it know that I've loved you all along.
Just like sunny days that we ignore because we're all dumb and jaded.
And I hope to God I figure out what's wrong.

If I don't make it know that I've loved you all along.
Just like sunny days that we ignore because we're all dumb and jaded.
And I hope to God I figure out..
