Sheryl Crow ~ Strong Enough

Sheryl Crow's debut album was titled Tuesday Night Music Club, after a group of credited musicians called the "Tuesday Music Club" who gathered on Tuesdays to work with Crow on the album. The record won three Grammy Awards in 1995: Record of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Female Vocal Performance. "Strong Enough" is a slow song filled with emotion. It peaked at number two on the Billborad Hot 100 and caused the Tuesday Night Music Club to reach number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts.

Strong Enough by Sheryl Crow lyrics

God, I feel like hell tonight,
The tears of rage I cannot fight.
I'd be the last to help you understand.
Are you strong enough to be my man?
My man..

Nothing's true and nothing's right,
So let me be alone tonight.
'Cause you cant change the way I am.
Are you strong enough to be my man?

Lie to me, I promise I'll believe.
Lie to me, but please don't leave.

I have a face I cannot show.
I make the rules up as I go.
It's try and love me if you can.
Are you strong enough to be my man?
My man..

Are you strong enough to be my man?
Are you strong to be my man?
Are you strong enough my man?

When I've shown you that I just don't care..
When I'm throwing punches in the air..
When I'm broken down and I can't stand..
Would you be man enough to be my man?

Lie to me, I promise I'll believe.
Lie to me, but please don't leave.
